 Theme: "Camper and Teen Having Fun Going Green"

Allow us to introduce to you the CAMPERS, TEEN-BUDDIES, and VOLUNTEERS who enjoyed one or more of the 5-day sessions.

Our campers experienced many HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES at CampKoski.  Each day, they visited different CAMP STATIONS accompanied by their one-to-one teen buddies.  Check them out!!!

THE POND STATION

Luke, Eric, and Zach -- our fearless lifeguards!

                                Kayaking, rowing, and netting ... Oh my!

THE NATURE STATION

The campers rode down to the nature pavilion "hayride style!"

When the campers arrived at the nature pavilion, a hands-on nature activity was ready and waiting.  The teen-buddies helped their campers to touch, hold, match, and experience many different items (i.e. leaves, bugs, seeds, animal skeletons ...)!!

THE HORSE STATION

Red and Flipper were the rock stars in this area ... with the help of the "horse girls" of course!!  Molly, Kathleen, and Hannah led this station for the 3rd summer in-a-row!

THE ART STATION

This area was led by Kayla ... whose energy and patience were amazing! 

                            Sometimes Kayla even had the help of a Jr. Counselor for the day!

"TRY IT ... YOU'LL LIKE IT" STATION

This part of the day was all about making choices!  Here are some of the activities that these campers chose...

... staying cool with water sprinklers

... swinging in the barn or from a tree

... building a goat playground  

 ... checking out a hen or rabbit

 ... pretending to be a cashier in a pet store    ... or to live in a treehouse

Our campers and teen-buddies enjoyed the different VISITORS and  PRESENTERS who came to CampKoski to share their talents and knowledge.

 THE CALVERT HALL WRESTLING TEAM AND THEIR COACH ...

The campers used photos of the CHC wrestlers to choose the next opponents.   Even the campers learned a few moves, with the assistance of Coach!

A JUMP-ROPER WHO SHOWED US "THE ROPES"...!

A TAE KWON DO BLACK-BELT ... WE GOT A "KICK" OUT OF HER!

A PRETTY PARAKEET ... AND ... A PYGMY PIG

ROONIE (HE'S THE FLUFFY ONE) ... SOOOOOO "DOG-GONE" TALENTED ... HE MADE CHOICES BY HITTING A SWITCH WITH HIS PAW!

 A CAR THAT WAS A "CLASSIC" ... WE HAD FUN WASHING AND DRYING IT!

A "3-PACK" OF ALPACAS ... "ICE," "COSMO," AND "TSUMANI"

A GUITAR PLAYER WHO GAVE OUR CAMPERS A REASON TO DANCE ...

AN ILLUSTRATOR WHO SKETCHED EACH OF THE CAMPERS ... 

A MASSAGE THERAPIST WHO REWARDED THE TEEN-BUDDIES WHILE THE CAMPERS WERE BEING SKETCHED ... AND, BOY, DID THEY DESERVE IT!!!
